Biography

Rebecca Seifert is a singer, actress, and educator currently based in beautiful Lafayette, Colorado. She graduated with honors from the University of Oregon, where she was recognized as the “Outstanding Undergraduate Vocalist” and was one of the winners of the University of Oregon Opera Scholarship Competition. She holds a Master of Music degree from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she was fully funded through a tuition scholarship and a salaried graduate assistantship. Rebecca has performed both professionally and academically in choral, musical theatre, and operatic settings in the United States and abroad. Some of her favorite roles include: Isabella in Rossini’s L’Italiana in Algeria, Desiree Armfeldt in Sondheim’s A Little Night Music, and Hansel in Humperdinck’s Hansel und Gretel. As a choral musician, Rebecca has sung in major festivals including the Oregon Bach Festival, Oregon Musicking Conference, and Bravo! Vail. Rebecca is a passionate, well-rounded singer who is eager to share her dedication to the performing arts with her students. Outside of maintaining her private voice studio, she enjoys jogging, hiking, cooking, and hanging out with her cat, Romeo.
